Cartoon Network Overview
The network’s logo got its first name, “Cartoon Network,” in 1992. The original logo was fun and quirky. The cartoon was at the top, and the Network was at the bottom.
The text was on a background of black and white squares. Both words were written across the checkerboard, with a letter in each of the squares. When the letter was black, the square was white, and the other way around. “Cartoon Network” was written in a slab-serif font.
In 2004, there was a change to the logo for Cartoon Network to make it look cleaner and more fascinating.
