CheapOair’s sorting and filtering options are useful, but keep a look out for hidden surcharges. In addition to a service cost of up to $35 on most flights (business and first class ticket fees can be up to $150), you may be charged “post-ticketing fees” such as cancellation and change fees.
Hot Tip: If you have to cancel your flight, CheapOair will charge you a price in addition to any airline fees. This price can be avoided if you purchase a “support package.”

You may also be charged additional fees. On most economy flights, OneTravel can charge a service fee of up to $35, while the amount may be greater on specific flights.
OneTravel has its own credit card. Students may be enticed to apply in order to gain points on their purchases, but there are better solutions available.

SriLankan Airlines Student Discount
