What is an Airtag?
Apple’s brand-new Bluetooth trackers, called AirTags, make it simple to locate your bags, keys, or anything else you connect them to. Simply connect up an AirTag with your iPhone, and you can use Siri to find it, have it play a loud sound, or view its location on a map.
Additionally, AirTags now include a Precision Finding feature that uses an arrow to point to the location of the AirTag, making it even simpler to locate your stuff.

How to Set Up an AirTag: Requirements
You’ll also need a few additional items besides the AirTag to get started.
The most essential requirement is an iPhone or iPad installed with iOS 14.5 or later.
Additionally, your Apple ID must have two-factor authentication enabled. Using two-factor authentication is a crucial step in enhancing the security of your account against illegal access from third parties.

If another person finds the AirTag, check the information that shows, and then tap Activate.

Tap the Notify When Left Behind button to receive notifications whenever the item is left behind. If you turn on the switch for this feature, you’ll receive a notification any time you leave a place without the object. Additionally, you can specify particular places where you don’t want to get these messages.

How to Reset an Airtag

To reset your AirTag, take the following steps:
- Push down firmly on the polished stainless steel battery cover of your AirTag to stop the battery cover from rotating.
- Take off the lid and the battery.
- Put in a new battery.
- Continue pressing the battery down until you hear a sound. When the battery makes this noise, it is connected.
- Continue pressing down on the battery until you hear a sound four more times, removing and replacing the battery each time the sound stops.
- Every time you press on the battery, there should be a sound, making a total of five sounds. In contrast to the first four, the fifth sound is unique. This demonstrates that the AirTag is now prepared to pair.
- Aligning the three tabs on the cover with the three slots on your AirTag will allow you to replace them.
- Press the cover firmly.
- The cover should be rotated counterclockwise until it stops.
