How to Change the Size of the Font on an iPhone
If you want to make those tiny iPhone letters bigger or smaller, it’s easy to change the font size on your iPhone. Dynamic Type is a setting that tells apps to change the size of the text. Not all apps support this setting, but many do. To make the text on your iPhone bigger:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone to change the size of the text.
- Open the app for Settings.
- Select Screen & Brightness.
- Tap Text Size.
- Move the slider to the right until the text is the size you want.
How to Make the Text on an iPhone Even Bigger
If the text size is still too small, you can make it even bigger by using the Accessibility settings on your iPhone. To make your iPhone text bigger:
- Tap Accessibility in the Settings app.
- Click on Accessibility.
- Select Display and Text Size.
- Click on Larger Text.

How to Change the Font Size on Your iPhone for Certain Apps
With this option, you can change the font size for some apps with a couple of exceptions. It came out with the iOS 15 in September 2021.
- Open the Settings app and choose Control Center from the list of options.
- The page will be split into two parts: Included Controls and More Controls. Tap the plus sign next to the Text Size option under “More Controls” to move it up into the “Included Controls” section.
- Toggle Access Within Apps at the top of the page if it isn’t already.

- Use the slider at the bottom of the screen to choose “Twitter Only” or the name of the app you want to change. Then, use the vertical slider to make the text bigger or smaller.
- Your changes will happen right away.

If you need to add a widget for font size to Control Center, which makes it easy to switch between text sizes quickly, here is how.
- Click Settings and then Control Center.
- Scroll down to More Controls and tap the green plus sign next to Text Size. In the Included Controls section, you will now see that Text Size is there.
- Pull down from the top right of your Home Screen to open the Control Center. Tap the box with two letter A symbols, which is the Text Size box.
