Apple introduced some significant changes to the Lock Screen experience with the release of iOS 16, including the ability for users to make their iPhone screen saver shuffle between a pre-selected set of photos with a simple tap of the screen or change it seamlessly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Basically, you can include different categories of photos to tap through when using the Photo Shuffle option, such as people, pets, nature, and cities. Alternatively, you can manually select which photos you want to include in the shuffle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Let’s go over the different methods involved when you need to change your screen saver on your iPhone. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
To preview the photos in your shuffle, tap the screen. You can also zoom in by pinching the screen. If you see one you don’t want to use, tap the ellipsis icon (three encircled dots) in the bottom-right corner of the screen and choose Don’t Feature Photo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If you decide not to include a certain set of photos (for example, pets), tap the Shuffle Categories button in the bottom-left corner and uncheck the ones you want to exclude. Swipe left and right to see previews of filters that can be applied to your photos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When you’re satisfied with your new shuffle Lock Screen, tap Add in the upper-right corner, then choose Set as Wallpaper Pair or Customize Home Screen. If you selected the first option, simply tap the Lock Screen you just created to activate it. If you choose the latter, you’ll be taken to a set of tools that will allow you to change the color and gradient of your Home Screen wallpaper independently or even select a different image entirely. On the following screen, you can change the font style of the clock display and add optional widgets. To make changes\/additions to your photo shuffle Lock Screen, simply tap the frames around the different elements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
