It can now be found under Focus, which means it will no longer be available under Settings on iPadOS 15 and iOS 15. Because Focus is highly customizable, it can be difficult for some to find the Do Not Disturb option in iOS 15.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-to-disable-do-not-disturb-in-ios-15\"><span id=\"how-to-disable-do-not-disturb-in-ios-15\">How to Disable Do Not Disturb in iOS 15<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Here\u2019s how to disable Do Not Disturb on an iPhone running iOS 15 or later:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click the Settings icon.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scroll down and select Focus.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the Do Not Disturb button on the Focus page.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To turn off Do Not Disturb on your iPhone, navigate to the new page and click the button next to Do Not Disturb.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The status bar displays the status of the Do Not Disturb mode. The Do Not Disturb mode is active if a crescent icon appears in the top left corner of the screen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-to-disable-do-not-disturb-on-iphone-in-ios-15-control-center\"><span id=\"how-to-disable-do-not-disturb-on-iphone-in-ios-15-control-center\">How to Disable Do Not Disturb on iPhone in iOS 15 Control Center<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As previously stated, the Do Not Disturb toggle in iOS 15 can also be found under the Focus tab. To turn off the Do Not Disturb mode from the control centre on iOS 15, follow these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Swipe down from the upper right corner of your screen if your iPhone has Face ID.<br>Scroll up from the bottom of your screen if you have an iPhone without Face ID.<br>There are two options here: Do Not Disturb and Focus. Simply click on it.<br>Focus or Do Not Disturb is turned off when the option or icon is not illuminated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-to-schedule-do-not-disturb-on-iphone\"><span id=\"how-to-schedule-do-not-disturb-on-iphone\">How to Schedule Do Not Disturb on iPhone<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Having the DND mode activate automatically at a time you specify can be a useful feature because you won\u2019t have to turn it on and off manually. You can schedule the Do Not Disturb mode for specific days, weekly or monthly. You can now allow notifications and calls from specific apps and contracts even when DND is turned on, thanks to the Focus feature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The following are the steps to schedule the Do Not Disturb mode on iOS 15:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click the Settings icon.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scroll down and select Focus.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the Do Not Disturb button on the Focus page.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the Add Schedule or Automation button near the bottom of the screen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A new menu titled New Automation will appear on the screen. Select the Time option there.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Toggle the Schedule switch on. You can set the starting and ending times for the DND mode on the same page.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the number of days you want to enable the schedule for in the Repeat section.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To save the changes, click Done in the upper right corner of the window.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can also toggle the DND schedule on and off without having to delete the automation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-to-remove-custom-focus-from-an-iphone\"><span id=\"how-to-remove-custom-focus-from-an-iphone\">How to Remove Custom Focus From an iPhone<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>When you long-press the Focus toggle, several Focus profiles may appear. While you may actively use some of these, deleting the ones you don\u2019t will make navigating the Control Center\u2019s Focus menu easier. Follow the steps below to delete any custom Focus:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open the iPhone Settings app and select Focus.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tap on the Focus you want to delete to select it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scroll to the bottom of its settings and tap Delete Focus; however, Do Not Disturb and Personal Focus cannot be deleted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-to-customize-do-not-disturb\"><span id=\"how-to-customize-do-not-disturb\">How to Customize Do Not Disturb<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to use the Do Not Disturb feature but are concerned that you will miss an important communication, don\u2019t be. You can customize the feature to meet your needs. Of course, the steps differ depending on your iOS version, just as they do when disabling the feature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-1-customize-do-not-disturb-older-ios-versions\"><span id=\"1-customize-do-not-disturb-older-ios-versions\">#1. Customize Do Not Disturb \u2013 Older iOS Versions<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The developers at Apple give us a lot of control over the notifications we allow. You can set Do Not Disturb to activate automatically at certain times, allow specific contacts to call or text, and create app exceptions. Here\u2019s what you should do:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open your iPhone\u2019s Settings app and select Do Not Disturb.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Toggle the Do Not Disturb switch to the green position. To set a timer for the Do Not Disturb feature, toggle the Scheduled option.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>By tapping the While iPhone is locked option, you can enable notifications while your phone is unlocked.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add Contacts to your Favorites list to allow calls and texts from those phone numbers anytime. Simply tap the Allow Calls From option and make the appropriate selection.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Finally, if you\u2019re concerned about missing an emergency call, toggle the switch next to Repeated Calls.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You can now leave your iPhone in Do Not Disturb mode and still receive notifications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-2-customize-do-not-disturb-newer-ios-versions\"><span id=\"2-customize-do-not-disturb-newer-ios-versions\">#2. Customize Do Not Disturb \u2013 Newer iOS Versions<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>With newer versions, Apple took the Do Not Disturb feature a step further. Here\u2019s how to change the Do Not Disturb setting on iOS 15.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to Settings > Focus.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select Do Not Disturb.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Set a timer, add exceptions for contacts or apps, and more by selecting any of the options on this page.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Newer iOS versions allow you to add app exceptions, allowing you to put your phone in Do Not Disturb mode while still receiving important notifications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-what-exactly-is-the-bedtime-option\"><span id=\"what-exactly-is-the-bedtime-option\">What exactly is the Bedtime option?<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>When you enable the Bedtime option, your Lock screen dims, calls are silenced, and notifications appear only in the Notification Center.
